Tucker - Now Blue - Adopted 10/13/01

Blue was adopted by a great couple in Madison, WI. Blue has a new brother Trapper who is also a White Collie. He will have lots of fun playing with his brother and new Family. Congratulations to Blue and his new forever family!

Here is a note from Blue's family:

Almost 6 months ago my fiance' and I adopted Trapper, a 2 year old white collie, with lots of energy:) We fed him, since he came to us at 44lbs and he is now a healthy 82lbs. He has responded to love and attention very well. Just a few short six weeks ago we noticed that Trapper was lonely and needed a friend. We discussed this with Kim and we all agreed that his anixety about being alone while we were at work might be subdued by having a big brother around. A gentle, quieting influence on him in the house was what we were looking for since Trapper was a handful for the first two months. Anyway, we were not inclined to have an energetic dog in the house after just getting Trapper settled, so we contacted Kim. Long story short , we drove 6 hours to go and adopt our newest arival, Blue. He is the perfect companion and a great addition to our family. Trapper loves having a big brother (Blue is three yeas old) and can't go any where with out him. Blue can't be with out Trapper either. Yes, we had a few disagreements and a couple fights, but once they figured out that there was enough water bowls (we have 6 in the house) and that they each had thier own food and plenty of treats and enough love to go around, they were fine together. They were close friends since the seond day and people are always commenting on how they act so nice and get along so well. Many think that they are true litter mates. I think they are in spirit! Blue is also healthy at 90lbs. and a handsome white collie. So please feel free to email us to ask any questions if you are new to the adoption and going through rough times.
