Angel - Adopted11/23/02

Angel is a six year old sable and white spayed Collie female.  She is up to date on all vaccinations, rides well in a car, and is very friendly.

She is really a sweetheart and gets along well with other dogs.  Angel doesn't seem to mind me giving attention to any of the others.  She has even laid her head across Colin's neck when resting in the car.  Very sweet. She loves the car.

She gives kisses, puts her paw on you when she wants to be petted, and she loves to be cuddled.  Her favorite thing to do is be laying in the kitchen watching me every minute.

Angel loves to go for walks and likes everyone she meets.  She is ok with grooming, and does not counter surf.

She seems cautious around small children and is ok with cats.  She doesn't chase things and I don't think she would run away.  She likes to sit outside in the sun when I am cleaning my car out.  Of course she likes to be lay on a rug, quite the little lady she is.  Very delicate.  A very sweet little Angel

Update 11/04/02:

I don't think Angel will need a fence.  She will come right away when I call her.  Not to say she wouldn't trot out a bit to the end of the driveway, but stops when called and comes right back.  Angel would need to be attended to until she got to feel secure there though of course.  I have never let her out without being with her or having her in the fenced in area out back.

Angel definitely knows her name and listens very well.  She loves to go for walks on a leash and just prances.  She is very sweet but definitely a mature dog.  Angel is not like a puppy

I think Angel would be fine with children.  She is the one that ran out to the driveway to be petted by the kids on Halloween.  Her tail was just a wagging.  She wanted to go with them!

What I wish most for her is to have a home where she might be the only dog or one of two.  She does not play much with the other dogs at my home but she is the alpha there about food and chews.  She is gentle and small.  We went to the dog park twice this weekend and she enjoys that a lot.
