Carlos - Now Wolfie - Adopted 1/24/02
Wolfie was adopted by
a wonderful family in Wisconsin that has a one year
old Sable Collie named Woody, a two year old
Australian Shepherd named Bob and two kitties.
Wolfie at 4 months old is very smart and a good
boy. He plays with the big dogs and when he gets
knocked down he goes right back in for more. He is
very well adjusted to every situation and as you can
see from the picture he enjoys a good stick. Wolfie
has a kitty brother named Moe who was adopted this
winter and are nearly the same age. Moe and Wolfie
wrestle together every day and are fast friends.
Wolfie loves his new family. His human sister
Mariah likes to call him Boomer. His human brother
Zachary likes to throw frisbee for the dogs. Every
once in awhile when Bob, the Aussie, isn't looking,
Wolfie chases the frisbee. Wolfie's dad is a
teacher and takes him to school to see the kids. He
really likes all the attention. He is a
wonderful puppy.

Just thought I'd let you know how well Wolfie is doing. His temperament is outstanding. He's very happy, compliant, and seems to have a few IQ points. He lets us know when he needs to go out to P/P.
He takes 0 crap from the big boys - he seems oblivious to their attempts at putting him in his place, therefore I wouldn't be surprised if he starts running the show in time. Bob can knock him on his butt during Frisbee" -a game wherein a human throws a frisbee, Bob catches it and runs headfirst, full tilt in to the nearest dog. It makes for interesting sound effects to listen the air forced from Woody's and Wolfie's bodies upon impact and the consequent "Ugh!" as they hit the dirt.
But in the house, the pup rules. Probably due to the speed limit I enforce. Bob is no longer a projectile...
