Jake - Adopted 9/19/02
Jake is a beautiful, very stately, neutered 1 year old male White/sable/merle Collie. He has one brown eye and the other is half brown and half blue. Very interesting to look at! Jake is a larger male collie and he has long legs so he towers over my 4 collies. Jake is a very polite collie who is very slow to warm up to anyone. He likes to have his own space in my office and retreats there often. Jake is fully up to date on his vaccinations, and is heartworm negative.
He has not been a big eater so far and he is a bit thin, but healthy. I think he will get the hang of the eating routine here soon. I think he was allowed to freely eat before, so he eats slowly and gets distracted. My 4 collies take advantage when they get the chance.
Jake would love a quieter home where he can find a comfortable place to rest. He likes kids but not the loud rowdy ones. He hides when things get loud. If anyone yells around him he gets quite upset, so he likes kids as long as they don't yell. He has a very sensitive and gentle nature. Jake is all ready for his new home!

Jake was adopted today and he was so happy to see his new family! He now has a brother Buster, who was adopted from MWCR in 2001. They look so good together as Buster is a Tri and Jake is a white Sable Merle.
