Rocky is a beautiful, friendly 2 year old Sable and White male Collie. He is Neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. Rocky rides well in the car, walks great on a lead, and absolutely loves people, including children. He is totally housebroken, can be trusted alone in the house, and knows some basic obedience, (sit, down, shake, etc.) but is still a bit rambunctious. He still has a lot of puppy energy that will need to be focused and appreciated.
Rocky has a sweet, loving nature and he loves attention. He will "test the waters" with new dogs until he finds his place in the pecking order.
Rocky has spent his life either on a leash or chained up. He would do best with an active family with a fenced yard where he could burn off some excess energy. Rocky will need another obedience class to bond with his new family and to remind him how to listen. With the right training he will be a wonderful family addition.
Rocky is an exceptional Collie and instantly loves everyone he meets!

We all made it!
The most traumatic part of the trip for Rocky was getting into the car at your house. After that, we made several successful rest stops and had a very relaxed ride before arriving home about 6:30 PM.
Rocky and Lady traveled wonderfully together and behaved like they've been friends forever. He already understands the "no dogs in carpeted areas" rule. Rocky & I have already done our first boundary tour of the yard and he seems to get that immediately also. He has met our neighbors and thinks they're fine too.
It has been along day, though. Rocky is totally sprawled out napping on his new daybed. More news and pictures soon.
