Sly - Adopted 11/16/02

Sly is a uniquely colored sable smooth coat collie
(which means that his fur will stay short). Sly is
approximately one year old and very energetic and
puppyish in his antics.
Sly was brought in as a stray with another Collie
when they had been dumped in a swampy area north of
the Twin Cities metro area. Sly is housebroken,
neutered and current with shots.
Sly has a mostly sable body, but the tip of his tail
is white and his feet are white. He is so very
loveable! He loves all people in return. Sly is
ready for adoption.
Sly is extremely energetic and loves to play with
the kids, but he might be too much for a very young
child so we recommend him for a home with children
over 5 years old. He is a very sweet and happy dog.
He loves other dogs and would do very well in a home
with another dog (we do not know how Sly is with
cats). Sly will need to go to obedience classes to
channel some of his enthusiastic puppy energy. The
grandkids have taken him out on a leash and taught
him to sit and shake. Sly is house-trained and
sleeps with on the floor by his foster Mom's bed.
Sly is a neutered male and up to date with shots.
Mini Update from Sly's foster mom:
Sly is gorgeous, loving, minds well, probably
needs a little more obedience training, and loves
kids. He is really good with my Belle, and he
still chews a little bit. His coat is a
long-smooth.
Sly was fostered in Mora, MN.
