Jingles

 2 year old smooth male

Jingles is a 2 year old neuter male smooth collie described as quite a character. He brings you his bowl when he's ready to eat and is doing great with his foster family He started out sleeping on the rug next to my bed, but awoke me one night with his skinny rump against my back. He loves to be up on a nice piece of furniture and curls up in a ball for a nap.

Jingles is food possessive and  won't eat with anyone else so I crated him with his food before I left for work  and it was empty when I got home. He is very very skinny boy and has had no accidents.

Jingles is a good dog  full of energy that  loves to play.  He especially thought our goat was great fun.  He was fine with all of the animals and good with a young boy.  He is quite sweet, quite active, and tries hard to please and is very smart.. He loves to play with the other foster dogs. He shows no aggression  with the cats that live in his foster home as well and has been known to share his chews at times with them. Jingles  is starting to fill out a little but is still a lot of leg. He loves to go with you for car rides and even if we don't go to the dog park, it seems a car ride will do . He responds very well to a firm voice command. He knows when he is being told to settle down.

Jingles is being fostered by one of our few Male foster homes and  responds well to confident commands as well as to  a gentle voice when he is being told he is a good boy. I would say the best home for Jingles would be a home where he could have another energetic pal to play and run with - or someone who is very active and gives him an opportunity to socialize with other dogs. A home where the owners would be willing to attend obedience class could be very helpful also to help him as well as them. Jingles wants very much to please you and though he acts like a big puppy at times and yet  he can be very gentle too. He is a very happy boy.

Jingles is being fostered in Madison, Wisconsin.
