Bio for Mac
Mac is a very handsome, four year old, neutered, sable male. He is a large dog (about 95 pounds), so he is truly a "Big Mac." He is a healthy guy, is house trained and walks well on a leash. His foster home doesn't include children or cats so they are an unknown quantity with Mac, but he does get along well with men, women and other dogs.  Mac would need a fenced yard because his foster family feels at this point he would run if given the opportunity.

Mac is still quite new to MWCR, and he is doing his best to adjust to a lot of new and frightening experiences. His foster family thinks that he has probably had very little affection and human contact in his young life, since he is often nervous and doesn't seem to understand petting and other shows of affection. He also doesn't know how to climb stairs or jump up into a car, though he loves to ride once he is there. Apparently no one ever took the time to teach him any commands, but he does know his name and will come when called. 

Mac is a really sweet boy who is in need of a home where he can learn what it means to be loved. He has already made progress in the short time he has been in his foster home, but will need a patient and attentive forever family who can help him to blossom into the happy, playful companion that he wants so much to be.
