Casey is a very handsome, two year old, blue merle male.  He has been neutered and is fully housebroken.  He rides well in the car and is very good about not straying from his yard.  Casey likes other dogs and plays well with them, but at dinner time he has shown some food aggression.  His foster home doesn't include cats or children, so they are an unknown quantity with Casey.

Casey came to MWCR with a number of fear/anxiety issues, and is currently taking medication (Clopramamine) to help reduce his stress.  His foster mom is also working with a behaviorist to try and help Casey deal with his fears.  He is afraid of a number of things including men, and he won't eat unless his foster mom sits right beside him.

Casey wants to be a happy, confident collie.  He just doesn't know how.  His dedicated foster mom will be working with him for many weeks to help him overcome his fears and face the world with his head high and his tail wagging.  Once that time comes, Casey will make some lucky family a wonderful, loyal companion.  In the meantime, check back for progress reports on Casey.
