Mitzi

Beguiling! That is the perfect description of this sweet imp of a collie. Mitzi joyfully greets every morning by bounding out the back door and doing a freestyle romp along the perimeter of the fence. Next, she scours the tree branches overhead looking for any squirrel foolish enough to invade her territory. Then, she looks around as if to say, “Now that I’ve finished my chores, let’s have some fun!”

Mitzi is one happy collie. She has fully recovered from her surgery and is looking at the world through clear, pain-free eyes. She has conquered her car sickness and enjoys accompanying her foster mom on daily errands and has also taken several long road trips to Minneapolis and Milwaukee. Life is good.

Mitzi loves her potato and duck dog food and her coat has become beautifully soft and full. She is ready for that special family who enjoys life as much as Mitzi does. She would love to have adults who can appreciate her active, fun-loving ways and she would also do well with another, non-dominant dog. A fence is an absolute must, since it isn’t easy to contain all this cheerful, high spirited exuberance.
