What a charmer this guy is. He is extremely affectionate and loves to be petted or snuggled. When he wants treats or attention, he sits politely in front of you and lifts one paw as if to say “Please!!!!”

Nate is a very healthy nine year old who came to MWCR from Nebraska where he had lived his entire life with one family. Unfortunately, Nate had to be surrendered because of family medical issues, and initially he was both sad and confused. However, he soon settled into his foster home and now he is just a joy to be around. He is housebroken, neutered, leash trained and up to date on all his vaccinations. He gets along well with the other collies at his foster home and likes to play herding games with them. He also gets along well with cats, and enjoys playing with his stuffed toys. But Nate’s favorite activity is just being with his people. He loves to go for long walks, and his sweet, happy nature makes him very good with gentle children.

Nate will make the perfect addition to any family looking for a gentle, quiet, well-mannered companion with lots of love to give.
