What can you say about these cute girls? They’re fun, they’re fluffy and they are just plain fantastic. They are very people oriented and love to cuddle with their foster family when they’re not rough-housing with one another. Like puppies everywhere, these girls can’t get enough petting and playing, and they really enjoy chewing and frolicking with their toys. Looking at these two happy little bundles of energy, it is hard to believe that they were only days from being euthanized by the over-crowded shelter where they had been dumped.

But life for a puppy is not all fun and games. The girls are working diligently on their house training and though they haven’t learned any commands yet, they are busy mastering puppy etiquette and good manners from their foster humans and the adult collies in the house. At about 14 weeks old, they are showing distinct signs of becoming large dogs. Their exact lineage is unknown, but their faces clearly show some collie in their family history and their color indicates that perhaps there was a golden lab somewhere among their ancestors.

These two pups are definitely bonded to one another but they also get along well with the adults dogs in their foster home. They are being raised with both children and cats, so they should have no problem making the transition to a forever home that includes kids, cats and other dogs. These little sweethearts are only missing two things: a forever home and names. If you want to help name the puppies, don’t forget to check out our "Name the Puppies" contest. And if you want to put a little puppy-love in your life, you’ve come to the right place!

These puppies are currently being fostered in Wauwatosa, WI.
