Dyson at 10 months.

New to Rescue!

Dyson here!! I think that is my name today. My family could not make up their mind what to call me. My personality kept coming out as I got more comfortable in my new home, and even though I'm mom's dog, everyone had their own opinion. Mom won out!!!! I hope it will stay Dyson. My mom wanted Dyson because I inhale my food (and anything else that is around) like a vacuum. I hope they keep it, because my big brother is Dakota and when you put the two names together, it sounds like we are a team.

I really like my big brother Dakota. He has been incredibly patient with all my puppy antics. Actually he gives it right back to me. I think we are a very good match. My family says I have been really good for Dakota. I guess he used to hide if anyone came to the door, now we have contests to see who can get there first. I guess he even played with a ball for the first time and I LOVE playing tug of war with him. My foster mom sent along one of my favorite toys. Now it is OUR favorite toy. I like chasing the little fur balls around the house (I believe they are called cats). One of them hides and then when I walk by, pounces on me. It is quite fun!!!

I've gone on walks and explored the neighborhood and even went to this great play area called a dog park. I had fun chasing my boy through the tunnels. Agility for me perhaps? I heard my mom mentioning school the other day. I guess that is where I have to go to learn manners. I thought I was fine the way I am, but I guess there is always room for improvement. I guess I am what is called a "tween" for puppy class.

Now that I am sleeping in my crate next to my mom's bed, I sleep through the night. My mom said I just have to work on my housetraining and I will be the perfect puppy. By the way, How do you train a house? Well, I think it is potty time. Just wanted to let everyone know how much I love it here. I miss all my brothers and hope they have found forever homes also.

Bye for now,

Love, Dyson

Dyson is being fostered in Fridley, MN.
