New to Rescue!
Have you ever wanted a puppy but didn’t want to deal with all the work and trouble of a young, barking, chewing, bouncing-off-the-wall little guy? Well, have we got the puppy for you!
Neuman is a 3-4 month old, sable and white, smooth-coated collie-beagle mix boy. His foster mom describes him as “perfect” and says she has never seen such a calm pup. He loves to play with the other dogs at his foster home and gets along well with everyone. He is curious about the resident cat and often stares at kitty with that “What the heck are you!” expression on his face, but never chases or barks at him. He enjoys being outdoors and loves to run and play in the yard, but his greatest love is his people. He follows them everywhere.
Neuman is one smart puppy! He never gets into trouble and hasn’t had a single accident in his crate. His foster mom is gone for eight hours a day, so that says a lot about Neuman’s self control. He is learning to “sit” on command and knows that “kennel” means it is time for him to go into his crate. He hasn’t chewed anything other than his nylabone since coming to his foster home. He is an exceptionally quiet boy, never barking inside the house and rarely barking when outdoors. He also rides well in the car.
Neuman is ready for a forever home that is as perfect as he is. It can include adults, kids, other dogs or even cats, and it would be great if it has a fenced yard where he can run and play. His forever family should definitely be one that is ready to continue his training and education, because a mind like Neuman’s is a terrible thing to waste! And one more thing: it must include lots and lots of love, because this guy is as loving and sweet as he is smart.
Neuman is being fostered near Chicago, IL.
