Samson and his brother Lance are two gorgeous, purebred collies who are available for adoption because their owners are relocating to Northern Ireland. These are well cared for, well loved boys who have lived together most of their lives and who must be adopted together. They are the best of friends.

Samson is a three and a half year old, smooth coated, neutered male. His family acquired him when he was a puppy and he has been the “baby” of the family ever since. He is a real “love bug” who sticks close to his people and will even try to climb in your lap. He is great with older children but is a little too big for toddlers. Like Lance, he has been well trained and follows both hand signals and verbal commands, though he sometimes has a case of “selective” hearing.

Samson is blind in one eye, though that is not noticeable physically and doesn’t affect his behavior or his ability to get around. He also is allergic to corn, a major ingredient in most dog foods, so he must be kept on a corn free diet. He currently is thriving on Nutro Natural Lamb and Rice and has had no recurrence of allergy symptoms. This food costs about $35 for a 40 pound bag.

Samson and Lance have lived their lives as indoor dogs and need to remain that way.
