This boy is a real diamond in the ruff! He is a three month old, sable and white, collie pup with perfectly tipped ears and a beautiful white diamond on his back. Even though he is still very young, he is almost completely housetrained and he also knows how to “sit” on command. He sleeps all night in his kennel and when given the “kennel” command, he willing goes into his little haven. He is very smart and eager to please and is just waiting for the perfect forever family to continue his education.

Scout is a loving, sweet natured, little guy who can’t get enough hugs and is fully convinced that he is a lap dog. He loves to play fetch (though he is sometimes reluctant to give the ball back) and is good with other dogs and with children. So far he has been very quiet, and his foster mom says he doesn’t bark at all.

As with any puppy, Scout loves to play and run, play and run, play and run. . . His forever home needs to understand that a young dog like Scout will need lots of exercise and will also need ongoing training. Obedience classes would be the perfect way to bond with Scout while helping him to grow into a canine good citizen. He would also love having another active dog to play with. Most importantly, Scout is looking for a family who knows that puppies need lots of love and hugs; but don’t worry, Scout is ready to give as good as he gets!
