| Description:
Devil or angel? With puppies you usually get a bit of both. Duncan is much loved at his forever home, but he recently showed his “devil” side by tearing up the linoleum on the kitchen floor. Of course he had plenty of toys, but none of them presented him with the challenge that the flooring did. In addition to kitchen floors, Duncan also likes to eat leaves, sticks and fur balls. He loves to play with his new sister, Ruby (another collie adopted from MWCR) and idolizes his brother Trouble, who considers Duncan to be a total nuisance.
On the “angel” side, Duncan has quickly learned to let his family know when he needs to go outside, and he has also learned several commands including “sit,” “lie down,” “shake” and “stay.” Of course with a puppy the “stay” usually only lasts about five seconds, but it’s the thought that counts. Duncan loves to “give kisses” and when his mom says “go see,” Duncan and the other dogs all run to the back door to watch their dad drive up. Duncan still sleeps on the bed with his mom and dad and his favorite position is flat on his back, legs spread, with his tongue sticking out between his teeth. One look at that face and you know that Duncan’s angel half has carried the day! |
