Description:
This girl is so lovely, tall and leggy that she is a virtual collie supermodel! Of course like most supermodels, she could also stand to gain a few pounds, but after having spent time as a stray and later at a shelter, it is not surprising that Cameron is on the lean side. Fortunately, she has a healthy appetite and not only eats her own food, but likes to steal a bite or two from some of the other dogs at her foster home.
Cameron is extremely well behaved and lady-like. She is fully housetrained and can be left alone without any fear of destructive behavior. She is also crate trained, though her foster family has never felt the need to crate her. She loves to be groomed (what supermodel doesn’t!) and knows a variety of commands including “sit,” “give paw,” “down” and “come.” She is working on her leash-walking skills.
Cameron is a playful, busy girl who loves her plush toys and will retrieve a ball for as long as someone will throw it. She is a little shy with strangers but is extremely friendly once she gets to know you. She is quite submissive with other dogs and gets along well with them. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about her attitude toward cats. She seems to regard them as moving, plush toys and for this reason she should probably go to a cat-free home. Because Cameron is large, playful and energetic, she might be intimidating to small children, but she would love to have older kids to play with.
Cameron is a happy, happy girl whose tail never stops wagging. She is loving, well behaved and never barks (how many collies can say that!). Cameron is looking for a forever home that has someone for her to play with: either another young dog, older children or active, fun-loving adults. She doesn’t need a fenced yard, since she stays close to her people when outdoors, and if you have crabby neighbors, they will appreciate her quiet ways. This is one supermodel that is definitely not high maintenance!
