Description: When Jake found his new, forever home, he also found a new identity. His family decided that “Jake” was just too common a name for such a special dog. After much discussion and many rejected ideas, they finally opted for “Timmy” (the young boy that Lassie was always rescuing). So Jake is now Timmy.

Timmy’s new mom is just amazed that a young dog who lived his entire life outdoors could adapt so quickly and so well to being an inside dog. His house manners are perfect and he can be left alone without any fear of accidents or destructive behavior. He doesn’t even jump up on the furniture. He does have one unique habit however. Whenever he is left alone, he spends his time gathering various items (shoes, throw pillows, stuffed animals, etc.) from around the house and piling them on the floor in the living room. He doesn’t chew or damage the items, just arranges them as a little welcome home surprise for his family. His family never knows what new arrangement will await them.

Timmy knows a variety of commands including: sit, stay, come, shake and no. He is a quiet collie with very little herding instinct. He doesn’t chase or bark at dogs, cats, cars, people, squirrels or other moving objects. When he runs with his family he does sometimes get excited and nip at their arms or legs, but stops immediately when told “no.” His mom is working on breaking him of this habit.

Timmy has found a wonderful home and is dearly loved by all members of the family. His canine brother, Shadow, a hyper-active terrier is bonding with Tim, and the family cat took to him immediately. She likes to give him kisses on the nose.

No matter what you call him, this is one very special collie boy!
