| Description:
All by himself, Bo is a gorgeous, sable, collie boy. But pair him with his buddy Dash and you get way more than just a pair of happy collies. You get two best friends, a wonderful, well-behaved collie-team! At almost nine years old, Bo is past that annoying, chewing, frenetic, puppy stage. He is a mellow, yet active boy who gets along beautifully with humans, dogs and is even tolerant of kitties.
Bo has perfect house manners and is fully house trained. He is unusually quiet for a collie and often looks at his foster mom with a wise, majestic look that suggests he knows more than he is saying. He is a big boy, but has no trouble jumping up into his foster mom’s station wagon for a cruise around the neighborhood. Bo has reached the age where he is feeling a little stiffness in his joints, but with regular walks and a daily Glucosamine supplement, he should be feeling fine for years to come. He has no trouble walking on either carpeted or uncarpeted floors. Bo and Dash came to MWCR from a loving home where they were well cared for – a fact that shows in their happy, confident demeanor. Unforeseen family circumstances forced their owners to give them up. They have lived almost their entire lives together and clearly love one another. Either dog would do well in almost any caring environment that included another dog, but it is our sincere hope that they can find a home together. After all, two collies aren’t much more work than one, but they are lots more fun! In addition, special consideration will be given on the adoption fee if Bo and Dash are adopted together. |
