| Description:
More than twice the fun, with less than twice the work: that’s what you will get with Dash and his best buddy Bo. Dash is a handsome, seven year old, tri-colored collie whose happy, playful ways are a constant joy to his foster family. He is a big boy (perhaps a pound or two bigger than he needs to be) who is extremely loving with humans and other dogs alike. His foster family has a collie pup whose antics would drive an ordinary dog crazy, but Dash tolerantly allows his little “sis” to jump on him, chew his tail, and steal his toys and chew bones. He even rewards her pesky behavior by chasing her around the yard (much to her delight). Let’s face it, Dash is something of an “enabler.”
Like his buddy Bo, Dash is perfectly housetrained and very well behaved. He likes to go for car rides and willingly jumps into his foster mom’s station wagon. He loves to be with his family and often follows his foster mom from room to room, just for the joy of her company. He is very gentle with humans of all ages and with other dogs. He even tolerates the cat. Dash came to MWCR from a devoted family who were forced to surrender both him and his friend due to family circumstances. Both dogs have been well cared for and have confident, happy personalities. They have lived together almost their entire lives and it would be a shame to separate them now. Although Dash would do well in almost any loving home, we are hoping to find a family that will keep the boys together. If you have room for one easy going collie boy, why not make room for one more? In addition, special consideration will be given on the adoption fee if Bo and Dash are adopted together. |
