Update: April 5, 2009
As he settles into his foster home, Liam is really blossoming. When his foster mom comes home, he greets her with his very own “welcome home” dance, complete with lots of hopping, bouncing and barking. It seems that the noble and mysterious Liam can also be quite the clown when he wants to.
Liam loves to play and he particularly loves to chase the squirrels. It doesn’t matter that the squirrels are in the tree tops and Liam is on the ground. He is happy to race from tree to tree, waiting for the moment when one of those pesky rodents just misses the next branch. So far there have been no squirrel fatalities, but Liam is a patient collie.
In spite of his fascination with squirrels, Liam understands that his foster family’s cat is strictly off limits. He doesn’t bother kitty at all.
Liam is a beautiful boy who is ready to welcome home his new, forever family.
Description:
Meet Liam, international dog of mystery! Liam came to MWCR as a stray so we know nothing about his history, but we do know that someone lost a truly wonderful companion. Liam is a real gentleman with loving, soulful eyes and a noble manner. Although his coat was in poor shape when he first arrived, his foster family has been working with him and he has quickly blossomed into a very handsome boy.
Liam likes everyone he meets. He has been “kid tested” with children as young as two years old, and he passed with flying colors. However, because he is possessive about his toys, he would do best with children eight years or older. He also loves adult humans and gets along well with the other dogs and cat at his foster home. He is an all around nice guy.
Liam is fully housetrained and walks well on a leash. He likes to play, but settles down quickly when playtime is over.
Liam’s ideal forever home could include respectful children, caring adults, fun-loving canine pals and even a cat or two. Although we know nothing about his past, we definitely know that this happy, well behaved, loving boy will have a very bright future.
