Description:
Hi everyone! I’m Annee and I’m the new Pawsonality for July, because the old one got adopted. Boy, I sure hope I get adopted too. I’m sure once folks learn more about me, they will want to have me all to themselves, so here goes:
First, I’ve changed a lot since coming to my foster home. I’ve learned all about being an indoor dog and how to use my doggy door to go outside for a “call of nature.” The first night I was here, I slept outside on the deck because I was afraid to go inside. Well, that was a mistake, because being inside is super great! That’s where the people are and that’s where the treats are. My foster mom has taught me to come and sit in front of her and wait to receive my treat (Pupperonis and pigs ears are the best). When I sit nicely foster mom says how good I am and kisses me on the nose. One day I had a big lipstick kiss on my nose and the postman laughed at me. I didn’t really mind though, because it shows that I’m loved.
My foster mom knows just what to do to make my day. She takes me for a walk to the park where I can find lots of little humans of all sizes and shapes. I play with them and let them pet me and throw the ball for me and run with me and hug me, and if I could, I would stay there all day. I sure hope that when we find my forever home, there will be some little humans there for me to love. I’m very gentle with them because it is easy to hurt little humans and I would NEVER do that.
We have some other dogs here at my foster home, and I guess they are okay, but I don’t like it when they hang around my food or my treats. I think they are jealous of me because I’m sure that secretly mom likes me best. When we play outside in our fenced yard, I can always outrun them: “Eat my dust, you other dogs!” I would prefer it if my forever home didn’t have other dogs. I mean, if you have me, what more do you need?
Foster mom sometimes calls me Houdini. I don’t know who that is, but I think it must be someone who likes to play chase, because she usually says that when I get out of the yard and we run around the neighborhood with her chasing me. Boy, that’s fun, and foster mom is getting in pretty good shape.
Well, enough about me, what do YOU think of me? Do you have a fenced yard where we can play fetch? Do you have little humans for me to hug? Do you want someone to play with and cuddle up to? If so, then come and get me! I’m the one with the lipstick on my nose.
