Bio for Honey II
Honey by name and honey by nature. This sweet collie girl is a five year old, neutered, sable female. Her coat is a beautiful and unusual golden color and that, coupled with the silky quality of her fur, made some of us wonder whether Honey might have a little golden retriever in her ancestry. The vet, however, seems to think Honey is all collie. Either way, you couldn't ask for a more loving and affectionate girl.

Honey is highly trainable and anxious to please. She knows several commands, including "sit," "lie down," and "no." She is completely house trained and has been given the run of the house at her foster home without a single accident. She walks pretty well on a leash though she does best with a gentle leader, since she does tend to tug a little. Honey is a mellow, laid back girl who loves to be inside with her family, but when her leash appears, she is ready to go!

Honey loves to be loved. She gets along well with adults, children, cats and other dogs. Her foster mom says that Honey is definitely an "alpha" however, and wants to be top dog. For this reason, Honey is looking for a forever home where she can be an only dog or where the other dogs are more submissive. When she is allowed to be the dog in charge, Honey is as sweet as ... well... honey!
