Aikman is a strapping 10 ½ year young sable and white male who came to MWCR because his prior owners could not give him the time and attention he needs. Aikman is housebroken, despite the fact that he was not a "house dog" before he came to his foster home. He politely goes to the door to be let out. And then will want to come right back in, as he loves to be with his people. Or any people!

Very outgoing and eager to please, Aikman loves his foster home's two puppies, and ignores the resident parrot. He will chase the kitties, but once the kitties stop running, he just sniffs them and walks away.

A big boy who is currently on a diet and exercise regimen, Aikman is the picture of health, and happily "sits," "downs" and will give "PAWS." He is very well mannered, but does like to counter-surf, and will try his best to finagle himself into the food path between his foster's hand to their mouth, if allowed. Once his slim trim self reappears, it will be necessary to maintain and enforce the good food manners he is now learning.

Children are a joy to Aikman, and he loves riding in the car and being groomed. All the new-found attention Aikman is receiving is much appreciated by this happy boy. In return for loving care, Aikman will give his heart forever.
