Thor just may be the most misnamed collie since Hollywood named a male collie Lassie!  You would expect the god of thunder to be loud, powerful and domineering, but our Thor is just the opposite: sweet, quiet and gentle.  He came to MWCR from a shelter and from the moment he entered his foster home, he was the perfect house guest – polite, well mannered and gentle with everyone in the household.  Thor gets along beautifully with the other dogs and even the cats.  He particularly loves children and just lights up when they are around.  He is so gentle that he can be trusted with even very young kids.

At ten years old, Thor is still a healthy, happy boy who loves every thing and every one.  He likes to play with the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys chews and carrying around his stuffed toys.  He has a good appetite and loves treats, taking them from your hand in the gentlest of manners.  He is a smart boy and listens well to commands.  His foster mom describes him as "the best of the breed," and coming from a collie lover, that says it all!

Thor isn't a puppy anymore, but he is hoping that someone with lots of love to give will want to give a forever home to the sweetest collie ever!  They won't ever be sorry.
