New to Rescue!

Zorro is a dashing, handsome, tri-colored, collie boy.  He is seven to eight years old and came to MWCR from Anoka County, Minnesota where he was found as a stray.  It is hard to believe that no one claimed this guy, since he is not only loving and well behaved, but also a super hero and defender of the poor and downtrodden!

Zorro has a delightful personality: quiet, easy going and playful.  He gets along well with other dogs and is great with children and cats.  He doesn't chase the cats and lets them come to him - a fact much appreciated by the cats!  He is fully house trained and non-destructive in the house, although he does like to curl up on the sofa from time to time.  He walks nicely on a leash and is working on learning the basic commands.  He eats well, sleeps quietly through the night and loves to get treats.

Zorro is hoping to find a forever home that includes children and a fenced yard.  He is a loving boy who is protective of his family - though not aggressive.  He promises to use his hero powers only for good!

Zorro is being fostered in Janesville, Wisconsin.

So far $705 has been spent on Zorro’s medical treatments.
