| How do you feel about toys? | I am learning to enjoy toys; this is the first time in my life I have had any. I especially like playing tug-of-war with the rope toys with my foster brother. | What are your 'pet' peeves? | I am originally from South Dakota. I have been to 3 "homes" already in my first year, so tend to associate cars with switching homes which makes me leery of car rides - I am learning they can mean fun things like playing in the park but I still get anxious while in the car. The first home I was at had a big yard which I loved to run in but no one paid any attention to me so I starting chasing the neighbors cow. No one appreciated my herding so I was turned over to a rescue in SD. This rescue took care of me the best they could but didn't have much room for a big doggie like me so they helped me find MWCR. I adjusted well to living in the house & have decided that the best place to sleep is right on top of my mom's feet. This also keeps her from getting away from me ;-). I am also scared of some men so I need a Dad that understands this and will work with me to help me regain my trust in men...I promise my love is well worth the work!

Hmmm, that's a tough one! I like going for walks around the neighborhood - I have lots of energy I need to work off! But I also love to play with my doggie friends - my foster sister loves to play soccer with me and we will chase a ball for hours! I think my favorite though is being with my mom & my kids. I like to keep an eye on them to make sure that they are safe and happy. I enjoy playing with my kids. Today I even sat and played "tea party"! |
| If you could choose any forever family - what would they be like? | I'd love to have at least one person who could stay home with me all the time. If I can't have that I definitely need a fur-sibling to keep me company. I am still learning how to keep myself occupied while everyone is gone & I get a bit nervous in the house when alone so I prefer to be with my family. I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE kids!!! They are my favorite! I would enjoy a home with kids or at least one where kids visit a lot. Kitties are okay, I like it best when they play with me but I will respect their distance if that is what they want. I have been looking for love for a year...that’s a long time for a young pup like me to wait! Can you help me? |
