How Can You Help?
We are registered with the Internal Revenue Service
as a non-profit charitable organization.
Your contributions to MWCR are tax deductible.
- Become a member of Minnesota Wisconsin Collie Rescue. We need people to help in every aspect of collie rescue. You can donate money, walk dogs, donate supplies, help with fundraising and mailings, do shelter checks, make phone calls, do home checks, assist with reference checks and home visits for adoption, foster a dog and numerous other tasks that are required by a rescue organization.
- Volunteer to become a Foster Home to one of our Collies in need. This can be a temporary situation from a week to a month or two. Any amount of help you can give would be greatly appreciated by the Collies. Click here for more details.
- Offer to help out with transportation of the Collies.
- If you have an area of expertise please let us know! We are devoted Collie lovers just like you and the Collies would appreciate any assistance you can offer!
- Offer to help at or have a fundraiser to help raise money for our Collie's veterinary expenses.
- If you can't adopt or foster a Rescue Collie, you can offer to sponsor one of the Rescue Collies on this website.
- Many pet supply stores sell gift cards that we can use to purchase items that we need for the Collies.
- Shop at one of our affiliated sponsors listed below.
- Because many of the Collies we rescue require extended veterinary and foster care before they are available for adoption, we rely heavily on the generous donations from our friends and fellow Collie lovers.
- We are in great need of gratis or very reduced printing services for newsletters and brochures. Do you have a contact who can help MWCR spread the word by donating color printing?
- Anything you can spare will help save Collie lives. 100% of your donation goes directly to rescuing Collies. We need:
